Overview

Fragmented Logs (Stella Montis) Quest Overview

Fragmented Logs is a straightforward objective chain on the Stella Montis map, but it can feel confusing because the key interactions are tucked into specific rooms and side corridors. This guide breaks the quest into a clean route with clear landmarks so you can finish it in one raid with minimal wandering.

You’ll complete three main actions:

  • Use an electrical component to activate a terminal in the Robotic Sandbox control room.
  • Find a back-room conduit area (commonly via Control Room A3) and interact with a generator-style box by loading a power cell.
  • Go to the Cultural Archives and bring another terminal online in the server/storage room area.

What to Bring (So You Don’t Get Stuck)

Bring 1 Electrical Component

The most important prep is bringing one electrical component. One quest step requires it to interact with a terminal. If you don’t bring one, you can still complete the mission by looting it in-raid, but that adds risk and time.

If You Forgot It: Where to Loot an Electrical Component

A reliable fallback is searching the old robot/droid bodies on the ground (the inactive machines you can loot). These have a solid chance to contain an electrical component, so check them while rotating toward your first objective.

Step 1: Robotic Sandbox Terminal (Control Rooms Overlooking the Pit)

Get to the Robotic Sandbox POI

Your first destination is the Robotic Sandbox. This area is easiest to recognize by the open “sandbox” pit where sand and robotics equipment dominate the center, with perimeter walkways and rooms around it.

Find the Control Rooms on the Second Level

On either side of the Robotic Sandbox, there are control rooms on roughly the second level. Both rooms have windows that overlook the middle of the sandbox. There are multiple ways up, so don’t overthink the route—focus on getting elevation and looking for the windowed rooms facing inward.

Use the Electrical Component on the Terminal

Inside either control room, you’ll find a terminal you can interact with. This is where the electrical component is used. Once you successfully interact with the terminal using the component, you’ll complete the first quest requirement.

Tip: Because there are two mirrored control rooms, you don’t need a specific side—take whichever is safer based on nearby audio, combat, or patrol pressure.

Step 2: Conduit Back Room and the Generator Box (Control Room A3)

Drop to the Sandbox Level and Look for the Alcove Entrance

After the terminal interaction, head back down to the sandbox level—the lower area where the sand is. From here, you’re searching for an alcove entry that leads into a room labeled Control Room A3.

Stella Montis can be disorienting, so use this pattern:

  • Stay on the perimeter of the sandbox area.
  • Scan for signage and door labels, especially anything referencing control rooms.
  • Prioritize alcoves and side corridors that look like maintenance access rather than main hallways.

Find the Conduit Back Rooms

You’re specifically looking for the conduit back rooms. There may be more than one possible back-room layout, but the commonly reported path is through Control Room A3.

Interact with the Generator-Style Box (Load the Power Cell)

Once inside the back-room area, check the outside perimeter wall. You’re looking for a box that resembles a generator housing—something that accepts a power cell. Interact with it and load the power cell to complete this stage.

Navigation note: If you enter A3 and don’t immediately see the correct wall device, do a slow loop of the room edges. The interactable is easy to miss if you sprint past it.

Step 3: Cultural Archives Terminal (Server/Storage Room with Breachable Boxes)

Rotate to Cultural Archives

Your final objective is in the Cultural Archives. The key is not the entire POI, but a specific interior room many players remember: a server/storage-style room with lots of breachable boxes.

Locate the Server Room Area

Once you’re inside Cultural Archives, search for:

  • Tight rows of storage or server-like structures
  • Multiple breachable containers/boxes clustered together
  • A terminal positioned as a “bring online” interaction point

Bring the Terminal Online

In that room, find the terminal with the prompt to bring online and interact with it. After this interaction, Fragmented Logs is completed.

Route Planning Tips (Finish in One Raid)

Use a Simple Three-Stop Path

To reduce backtracking, plan your raid around this sequence:

  • Robotic Sandbox (control room terminal)
  • Sandbox level (Control Room A3 conduit back room generator box)
  • Cultural Archives (server room terminal)

This ordering keeps you in the same general region for the first two steps and saves you from bouncing between POIs.

Play the “Quiet Side” of the Sandbox

The Robotic Sandbox has multiple entry points and sightlines. If you’re hearing heavy fighting near one control room, rotate to the opposite side and take the other windowed room instead. Since either terminal works, the safest approach is usually the fastest.

Loot While You Rotate, Not While You Search

If you didn’t bring an electrical component, prioritize looting droid bodies on the way to the control rooms rather than stopping to fully clear side areas. The quest is more reliable when you keep moving and only slow down at the exact interaction points.

Common Mistakes That Waste Time

  • Entering the Robotic Sandbox and staying on the bottom level without checking the second-level windowed control rooms.
  • Ignoring alcoves and only following main corridors, which makes Control Room A3 harder to spot.
  • Not looping the wall perimeter in the conduit back rooms, causing you to miss the generator-style interactable.
  • Searching all of Cultural Archives instead of targeting the server/storage room with breachable boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to bring an electrical component for Fragmented Logs?

You don’t strictly have to, but it’s strongly recommended. One step requires it to use a terminal; without it, you’ll need to loot one in-raid, which can delay the run.

Which control room terminal do I need in the Robotic Sandbox?

Either of the second-level control rooms overlooking the sandbox center can work. Choose the safer side based on enemy presence and audio cues.

Where exactly is the generator box for the power cell step?

Look in the conduit back-room area, commonly accessed via the alcove into Control Room A3. The device is on the outside perimeter wall and looks like a generator box that accepts a power cell.

What room in Cultural Archives has the final terminal?

It’s typically the server/storage room area with many breachable boxes. The correct terminal has a clear prompt to bring it online.

Can I complete Fragmented Logs in a single raid?

Yes. If you bring the electrical component and follow the three-stop route (Sandbox terminal, A3 generator box, Archives terminal), it’s very doable in one run.
